During the summer, we have a four-week summer break, usually weeks 29–32, approximately from mid-July to mid-August.
We also have about two weeks off over Christmas and New Year. During both the summer break and the Christmas/New Year break, all regular cleaning is canceled, as many of our customers are also on vacation.
Some customers still book services from us during these breaks, so there is work available for those who wish to work. This means you can choose whether you want to work or be off during our breaks. The work may be with your own customers, but also with colleagues’ customers where you can take on extra hours.
We are generally unable to grant vacation at other times of the year except in very specific cases. This is because many customers are affected when leave is taken outside our designated vacation periods. Customers can be sensitive to changes and prefer to have their regular cleaner. Applications for additional leave outside the vacation periods must be submitted no later than one month before the requested leave.
It is very important not to book, for example, flight tickets before receiving approval from the office for your requested vacation. Leave that has not been approved is considered unauthorized absence.
When communicating with the office, we ask that you primarily send an email to office@rozenclean.se. This applies to reporting sick leave, time off, key-related issues, damages at a client’s home, and other questions.
The reason is that several people work in the office with varying schedules, and some may be off or on vacation. Therefore, email is the preferred method of contact with the office—please do not send text messages to individual staff members.

When you plan to be on parental leave, you must notify it two months before the planned leave via email to office@rozenclean.se, in the email you write that you will be on parental leave and what period the leave extends over. If you do not have the opportunity to notify this two months in advance, you must notify the leave as soon as possible.
When you plan to take parental leave, you are entitled to parental allowance, you apply for this allowance at försäkringskassan.se. Important to remember to apply no later than 90 days after you have withdrawn the first day of parental allowance. Feel free to apply for as long a period as possible so that the payments roll on smoothly. If you need to change your application, you must make a new application.
As an employee of Rozen Clean you are insured with Fora. When you are on parental leave and receive parental allowance from Försäkringskassan, you can also receive a supplementary compensation, called Parental Allowance Supplement, FPT. This means that you can receive approx. 10% of the salary that forms the basis of the preferential allowance. This can be applied for if you have been employed for at least 12 months and you do this at afaforsakring.se. Parental allowance supplement can be paid until the child turns 18 months at the latest.
